Gary Sams, a European designer, was born in Surrey and moved to Dorset at age 5. His artistic journey began with dinosaurs, eventually transitioning to pastels, banner paint, oils, and water colours. He studied illustration at the Arts Institute in Bournemouth from 1994 to 1997.
